"Speak of the devil."
"Speak of the devil” is a variation of “Speak of the devil and he shall appear,” which can be traced back to “Talk of the Devil, and he’s presently at your elbow” attested in 1666.
[At a party scene]
Jack: Hey, Dave, did you see Jill? I want to purpose to her tonight.
Dave: I'm not sure if she's been here.
Jack: Oh, God! I'm really so nervous.
[Then Dave sees Jill coming toward them from Jack's back]
Dave: Oops, "speak of the devil!":D
